Creating It’s a Sweet Life! was like crafting a dream made of sugar clouds and rainbow sprinkles. What started as a simple sketch quickly became a vibrant edible universe — a place where rivers of goo flow, chocolate lakes shimmer, and marshmallow mountains reach the sky.
The process began with the characters: Flip the adventurous fish and Stix the playful puppy. They needed to feel alive, expressive, and lovable. Once their personalities were defined, the world around them grew naturally. Every detail was designed to feel magical and inviting: gummy windows, lollipop forests, cookie cobblestones, and tiny creatures full of charm.
The goal was to create a book where each page feels like a discovery — something children can get lost in. A world so enchanting that young readers want to return to it again and again. And of course, we hid Flip throughout the story to make reading interactive, playful, and surprising.
